Scope and evidence
Evaluated on members of I other than home pages. The book marks this requirement DOCUMENTED RECOMMENDATION, SEARCH-ENGINE-SPECIFIC. It needs complete-crawl; without that input the rule reports as not evaluated rather than guessing.
Fail conditions
Each condition has a stable code and a reason template. The evaluator fills the placeholders from observed values only; no sentence in a report is generated.
orphan{url} is in {intent_source} but no crawled page links to it with a crawlable <a href>. Google recommends that every page you care about have a link from at least one other page on your site.
only_nofollowEvery internal link to {url} carries nofollow ({n} links). Google says such links will generally not be followed, so these links may not help it discover the page.
The documented fix
Link the page from a hub, category or related-content block; keep internal links followed.
Sources, quoted
These are the passages the rule rests on, stored once in the knowledge base and emitted exactly as written. A citation marked for specific conditions appears only on findings with those codes.
